1. Display Screen Equipment Assessor Training

Display Screen Equipment regulations (1992, revised 2002) require all display screen users to be assessed to ensure they are set-up correctly to minimise the risks of musculoskeletal disorders developing.

The DSE assessor training is delivered by a chartered ergonomist. It aims to provide delegates with all the skills required to conduct display screen equipment assessments competently. The common issues with workstation set-up, posture and disorders are covered with practical guidance on the assessment of these issues and recommendation of the relevant equipment. The DSE assessment process and the paperwork that needs to be completed is also covered in theory and in practice through a practical session.

At the end of the course delegates with become trained DSE assessors allowing them to assess workstations and users with confidence and competence. All required forms would be provided to allow delegates to conduct DSE assessments.
